How To Brew Coffee

How to use a Chemex Coffee Pot
If you are looking on how to brew coffee you should stick with several key factors. 1. Always buy fresh roasted coffee. 2. You should grind your coffee fresh daily. 3. Try and get your water temperature to at least 190 degrees. 4. Have a trusty coffee maker that you love and trust. We always recommend the Chemex Coffee maker. It's hourglass shape is elegant and unique. It's wood handle is great for easy pouring. Whether you are looking on how to make one cup of coffee or whether you are looking to make 8 cups of coffee, the Chemex Coffee maker is the right choice for you. Not only do you get to control the amount of water that goes through the coffee, but you get to control the temperature of the water as well. If you are brewing coffee using another method, that's ok. We are not saying you are making coffee the wrong way, we recommend the Chemex Brewing method because you have more control over the process. We have found that this will produce the best cup of coffee, follow these guidelines and you will soon find out why we recommend it so highly.

How to Make Iced Coffee
If you are making iced coffee but you are not using the Toddy Cold Brew System you are doing it the wrong way (well at least as far as we are concerned anyway). Yes, there are many ways to make Iced Coffee. The most common is that someone will just brew hot coffee and pour it over ice, well that is watered down. The other option is that someone will brew hot coffee and then put it into the refrigerator to cool down, once it is cold they will then pour it over ice. When either of these two methods are used, there are several problems. 1. The coffee is weaker than if it is cold brewed through the Toddy Cold Brew System, 2. When you use the Toddy Cold Brew System, you are eliminating much of the acidity that most coffees bring to the table and bringing out more of the coffees deeper flavors. This is needed because you are going to add milk to your iced coffee, and you need a very strong coffee that is going to hold up to 8 oz of milk. The best way to make Cold Brewed Coffee is by far through the Toddy System.

How to Make French Press Coffee
If you are looking on how to make a wonderful cup of French Press Coffee. You need several things. 1. Fresh ground coffee (coarsely ground/french press grind). 2. A French Press Coffee Pot. 3. Boiling Hot Water.

We recommend 2 oz of coffee per 32 oz of water. Let it sit for about 4-5 minutes before pouring your perfected Cup of Joe!
